Hear Ye! Hear Ye!
After traveling to Israel for 9 days and embarking on another 7 days of trans-local ministry, we are now back in the "fast forward" saddle here at "The Life". Mark your calendars so as to prioritize these upcoming events:
1.Sunday is Father's Day
Please invite friends and family as we give due honor to father's during our Sunday Morning Gathering.
2.Special Guest Minister
Next Saturday, June 22nd @ 9:30am, our good friend Scott Hinkle will join us for breakfast and special time of encouragement to touch others lives with the gospel and good deeds.
Jewish and a heroin addict, Scott was delivered from a life that pointed to prison and ultimately an early grave. In a parking lot in 1970, Scott's life was drastically rearranged as he was told of and experienced the life transforming power of Jesus Christ.
Scott founded the "National Conference on Street Ministry", which has trained thousands of workers, leaders and pastors through the years. He is author of two books and has often been a contributing author for Charisma Magazine.
3.July Is Family Month
As is our custom, we will forgo Wednesday evening sessions during the month of July so that everyone can prioritize family relationship. Enjoy!
4.Financial Updates:
Please peruse the bulletin board for posted balance sheets and other up-to-date financial information. Your faithful giving is demonstrated by our being able to restore the contingency fund to $5000.00 and begin contributing regularly to a mission fund while continuing monthly support of 2 missionaries.

HEAR YE! HEAR YE!
Sunday Morning 10:00am
* This Sunday, our corporate gathering will begin at 10:00am!!!! This positive adjustment will allow us to incorporate intercessory prayer as well as express "personal ministry" for the needs that often arise within the flock. This has been an unfortunate deficiency and our desire is to see Holy Spirit encounter through "laying on of hands" and anointing with oil" during our collective time together.
*Kind reminder that Sunday's Love Feast will focus on the celebration of the Coffey's 50th wedding anniversary. Please prepare ample "Southern style" dishes for your family with additional food for or guests. Cups, drinks, napkins and utensils will be provided.
Wednesday Evening Corporate Sessions
Beginning March 6th, our joint sessions scheduled on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday evenings will emphasize the practics of "Biblical Peacemaking" as it relates to relational conflict resolution. We will cover the prescription laid out by Jesus in Matthew 18 and lay out the principles for "speaking truth to power" [holding leadership accountable] and how to guard against "spiritual abuse" as we explain the role of Church governance in the local church.
House Cleaning March 9th
*We are planning a much needed work day for the building Saturday March 9th. Small jobs that include window cleaning, painting, installing 2nd projector/screen, laying carpet etc will help us prepare the facilities our special guests who will be joining us for the Passover Seder.
Passover Seder March 27th
*The Life is hosting a "Passover Seder Celebration" Wednesday March 27th with Dr. Jeffrey Seif. As a Messianic Jew, Dr Seif will guide us through the O.T. Jewish Feast and center it's fulfillment in the person of Jesus Christ. This is an awesome opportunity for us to invite unchurched friends, family and neighbors. Seating will be somewhat limited since Pastor Kevin Jefferson and the congregation of "Word of Grace Christian Center" will be joining us. Therefore, registration to reserve seating for your family and invited guests will be absolutely essential.

The Life Communique
Special News! Important Dates! Priority Announcements!
*Good News 1-31-2013
We recently commissioned a company to create modest outdoor signage. The City permit has been procured and installation is scheduled for this Thursday.
*Cultural Accommodation 2-3-2013
We try to adapt to culture when possible since we spend much time warring against it. Therefore, we will forgo "love feast" this coming Super Bowl Sunday. We have some serious football fans who make a day of it so enjoy the time with family and friends. Go 49rs!
*Friend of the House 2-10-13
We are excited that Pastor Jim Crabb will be ministering at The Life February 10th. Jim is more than a guest speaker, as he has been one of our closest ministry friends since the 80's. Unctional, Jim takes God's word very seriously and will rock the house with edification, illumination and motivation.
Pastor Jim is a graduate of Rhema Bible Training Center and the University of Louisville. Jim and Sara have two daughters and two grandchildren.
*Covenant Celebration 3-3-2013
The Coffey's will renew their covenant vows on Sunday March 3rd, 2013 in celebration of 50 years of marital life together. Our love feast fellowship will center upon this grace based accomplishment.
*Coming Soon 3-3-13
With an enlarged heart to minister more personally to the "whole life"needs of our flock, we are launching a new 10:00 am Lord's Day gathering time March 3rd. Brother Coffey and Mark were very positive that this revision will prove to be most profitable for the corporate assembly each week.

Greetings Saints,
In my haste to cover as much material as possible during our Sunday Morning
Catechism,I failed to bring out some very important information about "provisional membership status".
Let me explain what this means and who it might serve since it is a very important level of congregational relationship.
Provisional membership follows the same process of catechism but allows a time of "qualified membership status"specifically for new coverts who have been recently baptized, children who are 17 yrs or younger, and anyone receiving redemptive discipline and/or is progressing through a period of restoration.
This level of relationship enjoys the same benefits of "covenant membership" with the exception of having a voice during formal family meetings, financial matters, and the purchase of property or buildings etc.
The provisional status will continue until "confirmed membership" has been attained.
Please feel the liberty to ask questions or share feedback saints.
For The Kings Honor!
